About This Community Assessment
This survey is designed for community leaders, educators, administrators, and institutional stakeholders who want to evaluate whether their systems, resources, and structures are aligned to support child and family flourishing.
The M.A.T.T.E.R. Index Survey measures six essential domains of structural alignment:
- Material Security:Housing, food, and high-speed internet stability
- Access to Essential Supports:Childcare, mental health services, and transportation availability
- Tangible Stability Gaps:Identifying hidden stress drivers and barriers to progress
- Thriving Community Environment:Neighborhood safety, belonging, and community resource connections
- Economic Mobility & Workforce Alignment:Mapping dreams to local industry demand and career pathways
- Responsive Systems:Tracking institutional response speed and effectiveness
The Community Care Principle:
This assessment measures the structural alignment of community systems supporting child and family flourishing. It completes the Trinity of Care™ by ensuring that individual relational work and personal aspirational growth operate within a properly aligned institutional ecosystem.
The survey takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. This is a comprehensive audit of institutional and community resource alignment.
What Happens After?
You'll receive a comprehensive structural alignment report identifying systemic gaps, resource barriers, and actionable recommendations for improving institutional support for families and children.
We recommend quarterly reassessments to track progress in closing structural gaps and improving systemic responsiveness.
